This resort is very beautiful and modern. The rooms, the yard and the pools are very well maintained. The employees are very friendly. In the room there are 2 hats that you can borrow. The breakfast is delicious. Sometimes in the evening, there was noise from the street or from the wind. We liked staying at M Resort.

Great design hotel with a modern look and a great atmosphere. Spectacular views from the ocean view suites. Tasteful interior design. This small hotel with only 20ish rooms makes the place quiet and intimate compared with other resort type places. The hotels also has a small sun terrace “hanging” over the ocean. Great breakfast selection. (Especially the oatmeal and the avocado toast). Helpful and English speaking staff. Guest were Western Europeans, Americans and Chinese. Walking distance to the night market.

Very disappointing. Let’s start with the positive aspects: The rooms are cozy and the overall greenery look of the location is very nice, the staff is kind, however the serene atmosphere you might expect from the booking sites is just an illusion created by photos from the right angles. We had to face this reality after leaving our rooms and arriving at the pool. Below the pool heavy construction works are going on which last everyday from 7am until 5pm, so the expected relaxing and quiet resort experience would have never arisen during our stay. Upon complaining at the reception we were offered another hotel from the same group, M hotel in short distance. The rooms at the alternative are modern and stylish, however also this hotel has openend only a month ago, Nov 19, and works are about 90% complete. When we lay down on the sunbeds at the terrace we realized that there were welding works going on at the construction above the pool, welding sparks were dripping in the water. The rooms with city view are quite noisy from the street in front of the hotel, so its not a satisfying solution at all. We asked for a (partial) refund, which was declined, instead we were offered a voucher to come back in 6 months. To conclude, we would NOT recommend M resort. It might turn out a nice place once ready, but until that day it takes quite some balls to expect guests staying here and market the idea of a relaxing stay.
